Ride With Me celebrates TEN years of riding
Horse riding in Andalucia has been a tradition for centuries, a tradition which is still very much alive today, so why not come and "Ride with Me" and experience the history and culture of Spain?
Our home is the historical Rancho Bravo situated near Coin – less than an hour's drive from Malaga, Fuengirola and Marbella on the Costa del Sol.
Nestling at the foot of mountains in the valley of the Rio Grande, it gives access to some of the most breathtaking riding scenery in southern Spain.
Andalucia, with its beautiful landscapes, impressive mountains and rich culture is a true paradise for those who love horse riding. The sandy plans, pristine rivers, and lush forested valleys are ideal for horses. Ride along mountain trails enjoying the stunning views, splash through river beds, or wind your way through avocado and orange groves. Nature is at its best here – you can even watch the royal eagles soaring in the blue skies over the pine-covered backdrop.
Enjoy our beautiful Andalucian horses. They have character, strength, temperament and unquestionable courage. They are also sure footed, sensible, obedient and easy to manage. They wear western tack, more comfortable for trekking and we limit our rides to small groups (never more than 4).
We only cater for experienced riders – you don't need to be an expert but you do need to be happy and confident at walk, trot and canter. We can't take out children under 12 years and ask that younger riders should have at least three years' riding experience and be at least 145cm in height. We take care to match each rider with a suitable horse so that everyone can enjoy the day out.
Rancho Bravo is open all year round, though riding hours are limited to earlier mornings and later evenings in the heat of summer from mid June to mid September. We offer various treks (see "Our Rides" in the main menu) and are happy to discuss any special requests. For non riders we have a small social bar where you can buy drinks and have a swim in the pool or a walk down by the river.
